City of Garland health permits
Food trucks/trailers: $50 per month (one inspection per month)
TCS food prep: $100 per year (two inspections)
Limited food prep (no TCS)/no food prep: $50 per year (one inspection)
Permits will be issued for a calendar year or calendar month regardless of when the permit was obtained. For example if a food truck received their permit the last weekend of the month, they would need to apply and obtain another permit for the next weekend. If a limited or no food prep vendor obtained a permit in January or in November the fee is still $50.
Upon initial inspection or any subsequent inspections if they are found in violation (such as having no hand wash station) and they cannot correct it on site we would not issue the permit or revoke their permit and they would have to reapply and repay again. Also, if a vendor is a no show completely the vendor would have to reapply and repay again.
Booth fees are $50 per day for all vendors and the fees must be paid before you set up.
